Retirement

I'm a big fan of Stick's website and read it often. I love all the stories of happiness, sadness, cheating Thai wives and girlfriends, etc. It's a great way to spend a rainy afternoon at home. I've sent emails to some of the guys who
sent in submissions expressing joy in their adventures and sympathy in their dilemmas. I learned a lot and keep learning as I read more and more submissions. Thailand is the male's Disneyland. There's no doubt about that. The women are
juicy and tempting. A man can easily lose his mind in LOS as well as a lot of money chasing the fantasy. I know. I've done it. I've been going to Bangkok and points north and south in the country for years. I somehow kept my wits about
me as I got wiser and returned home to continue to pursue my career, stash cash and invest while always looking forward to retirement when I can do anything I damn well please without worrying about money or the baggage of an ill-gotten marriage
the rest of my life.

I'm pushing 55 and have only 5 years to go when I can say goodbye to work. I like my work so working beyond 55 is okay. I set 60 as my retirement age. I have a few more years that will go by faster than I would like. As you get older
the time seems to pass quicker. For example, when I was 24 I asked my father who was 56 at the time if he remembered his life at 24. His response was ''it was yesterday''. Time flies. Besides, my company has offered me positions
in Europe and I'm giving them some thought. I've never married so I'm quite free to do what I please. I'm cheaper to move overseas than a colleague with a family.

When I do retire, where will I go? Thailand is certainly on the radar. I've spent many a blissful holiday in Phuket, Bangkok, Pattaya, Chang Mai, and Udon Thani. I seldom slept without a beautiful young lady sharing my bed. I also spent
time in Manila and Angeles City in the Philippines. Again, seldom sleeping alone. Are Filipinas better than Thais in bed? Go find that out for yourself. I won't give my opinion. Just don't marry either of them. Stay free and enjoy the
bounty. To quote Mr. Jim (an American who I met one day in Nana) ''Be a farmer of these women. Every year a new crop of beauties come of legal age to be harvested.'' Sound advice.

I've made trips to Panama, Costa Rica and Rio over the past years. I put the women in Latin America on par with Asian beauties but with one difference. The Latinas seem to have a much softer heart, more sizzling sex drive and a more
realistic view on life. That is, they're not money driven. I'm giving Costa Rica a lot of attention as a final destination in my life. It's a short hop from the USA. The women are stunning. I have a friend who lives in Bangkok who
married a Brazilian while on a business trip there and brought her back to Bangkok! She is something to behold. That's a pretty good signal.

I gather with my friends and confidants and we discuss what our plans are for retirement. No one seems to have a clue as to what we will do or where we will live. As we age, all the scary medical issues arise. The big ''C''
is always on the forefront. Prostrate, colon, lung, Alzheimer’s, etc. You get the picture. The only comfort we seem to have is ''today''. Live today like it's the last day of your life. It's not that easy to
do. Like most people, I'm so focused on my future happiness that I fail to live in the present. I don't get laid much in the USA. I'm spoiled by hard bodies from Asia and Latin America. US women carry a lot of baggage. Mostly mental
BS, ex-husbands, kids, and the like. Not my cup of tea. I'd rather be by myself.

I'm booked to go to Bangkok this November. I'll check into the Dynasty Inn for a week then go down to Pattaya at their sister hotel for a week. After checking into the Dynasty, I'll walk across the street from Big Dogs to the
pharmacy for a Cialis fix. I'll cruise the outside bars for talent (I don't go into enclosed bars for fear the boys in brown will bust up the place). Big Dogs, Bus Stop, etc.will do. I'll even make my annual pilgrimage to the Eden
Club. And, you know what? You can go a long time without quality pussy. When you get it again, you'll wonder why you wasted so much time thinking about it. It's great, but it's not worth pining over it all the time. It'll always
come if you're willing to go the mile. I'll meet up with old pals living there or flying in for the reunion. I'm even looking forward to seeing the same watch salesmen that hang around Soi 4 hawking their wares.

So, what's the point here? I don't have a clue. While I'm looking forward to Thai ladies, Costa Rica is tugging at my elbow as a final destination in my life. Asia is changing and changing quickly. It's not like it was
20 years ago. Where will I finally end up? Ask God. As the saying goes, if you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans. Bottom line is, stay free and don't buy into superficial beauty of an Asian, Latin or any other race of women. You're
nothing more than a farang in any foreign country. Even in the States, women here are no different. They're all looking for a free ride at your expense. And, all pussy gets stale after a while. Keep your options open. Stash cash. And, as
Mr. Jim says, be a farmer.
