Thais And Four Year Olds

Thais And 4-Year-Olds

Thais and 4-year-olds have a lot in common. For example:

He Clinic Bangkok

1. Everyone likes the kid with the most toys. Not really. They just like his toys.

2. Everyone is very good at sharing, but not good at returning what was given to them.

3. It's not okay to take something, but if the teacher doesn't see it, no harm done.

4. If the teacher does see it, deny everything. If that doesn't work, throw a temper tantrum.

5. Cartoons and comics are terribly funny, no matter what the language.

6. You stick up for your friends and gang up on anyone who isn't your friend.

7. Nobody likes a tattle-tale, except for the teacher.

8. When you are on your bicycle, you are God.

9. All kids your age understand everything about you. Grown-ups don't have a clue.

10. Giving a bully your lunch money is the cost of going to school.

11. You secretly admire the bully for being able to get away with it.

12. Plastic things in bright day-glo colors kick ass.

13. You ask your parents if you can go to a different school because you got in a fight with a classmate.

14. If you do something really bad, run away quickly and hide.

15. You want to marry prince charming, but only if he has a nice castle in a far-away land.

16. You can be bribed with the promise of toys and candy.

17. Watching someone make the same mistake over and over again is more fun than correcting them.

18. Hurting someone's feelings by saying bad things about them is not allowed.

19. Hurting someone's feelings by scamming them out of their lunch money is allowed.

20. At the end of the day, say your prayers, ask forgiveness and all will be well.

Stickman says:

Amusing! I was in tow minds whether to put this one up or not. On on hand the Thais do some things that make us shake our heads and wonder, and we are not shy to point the finger, criticize and / or laugh. On the other side, as a friend said the other day, "like them or not, you'll be hard pressed to find a friendlier bunch of people".
