Black Pagoda Patpong Bangkok

After more than a year I returned to Thailand. Having had problems with “living” in Bangkok and after reading very favourable comments about Pattaya I thought it would be a good idea to give it a try.

Before I was in Pattaya only for a couple of days, enough to have a rough idea about the city and the nightlife, I fantasised about the beach and a cutie next to me, at least that was the theory…

After paying a short visit to a certain club in Bangkok and enjoying the services, the next day I took a bus to Pattaya. The bus was fairly crowded and I noticed 2 seats in front of me a Thai girl reading the manual of a fancy mobile, maybe a student I guessed, and suddenly she made a movement with her hand. Since I first came to Thailand I have admired the grace some women are able to make certain moves with, especially flagging down a taxi, with an ease and elegance. There’s no way a western female would come even close to this, but it makes me smile when I notice it.

In Pattaya I took a baht bus, just a pickup, and hoped that it would bring me close to Beach Road. I had a hotel in mind that I knew was located close to Beach Road, Flipper House, as I had checked out the location on the internet. The pick up dropped me close to the hotel, but it took me sometime to actually find it. At the reception I got a room, not perfect, but not too bad either, I paid for 3 days…

After a shower I started to have a walk around the area, a habit of mine, to get very soon a clear idea what is next to the place I stay. I pay special attention to ATMs, shops, and food stalls. Of course there were plenty of beer bars with girls calling me to join them, but I don’t like to hang around and drink, maybe later to play pool or so…

I noticed a girl with a very nice dress. It was Loy Kratong, at a beer bar opposite my hotel and I started chatting with her. I said I would barfine her later and she said that would be fine. When I returned 2 hours later she was busy with another customer. I just waited and drank a beer and she didn’t make contact so I left. No hard feelings, that is life…

I was not in the mood looking actively for company so I sat down close to the beach and watched the things going on. Some time later a girl came to me and asked if she could sit down. No problem with me. She told me she didn’t drink and was looking for customer who doesn’t butterfly. I said maybe we can stay together. I am lazy and I don’t like to change, so had no intension clocking up serious bedtime with a high headcount. As it was Loy Kratong she said if I was interested I could accompany her to her sister at Jomtien Beach. I like to visit Thai people. It’s always interesting so I agreed and we took a motorbike taxi to go there, a perfect ride, lots of traffic and across the pavement and no accident…

The place of her sister was quite basic with a couple of children and family members present, but close to the beach and we sat outside and had a good time…

Thanks to Dana I had a submission with lots of activities you can do in Pattaya, and I took advantage of it, especially the shooting range under the nightclub. I did quite well there, so no problems with guns…

One evening my girlfriend showed me a bar with a very good show, Windmill in a soi close to Walking Street. The show showed “everything” with nothing left to the imagination, and I made a mental note about one of the actors. She had a very cute smile…

Two days later I informed my girlfriend that I changed my mind about the “butterflying” part of our arrangement, and after some discussion involving flashing a razorblade and a some “contributions” from my side, she organised a hotel room for me, quite cheap actually. Maybe I should mention that I moved into her room after 2 days to save money as the hotel room was not perfect.

With my new freedom the first thing to do was to barfine the cute Windmill actress, and when we returned to my hotel, my former girlfriend was waiting. I gave her a smile and took my cutie to my room, but later my former girlfriend showed up and made a kind of scene. I shoved her out of the door, but the mood was ruined. It really pisses me off, when people come to my room only to create problems. When I stay with a girl and a couple of her friends show up for a bit of party I don’t mind, but when a stupid farang shows up, “Can I speak with…please” at 4 o’clock in the morning, I am not happy…

So my Pattaya girl was not lucky, I bye-byed my cutie and checked out of the hotel. Then I organized a taxi to Bangkok. While waiting for the taxi my former girlfriend showed up and told me that she loved me and so on and that she wanted to stay with me. After my experience with the razor blade I saw no point in lengthy discussions. I told her I need to think and I would call her in 30 minutes. She disappeared and 10 minutes later my taxi showed up. The driver was very nice and brought me safely to the Nana Hotel.

I think Pattaya is not my city…

Stickman's thoughts:

At last, someone with a brain! As soon as you see razor blades or any other dangerous weapons being thrown around it is time to get out of there. And you did that – well done!
