My reports of the red shirts protests which too place in Bangkok in April and May of 2010 are widely regarded amongst the best reports I have produced on this site and received massive traffic at the time. It's never easy with politics and the need to be unbiased. These reports from the front-lines received critical acclaim and included quality photographs of all of the action in what was an intriguing time in Thailand.

Original introduction

I am running updates covering the political protests in Thailand. Updates will be sporadic so check in often to see what's new. Political commentary is hardly my forte so please don't expect the same approach I take with other parts of this site where opinion and analysis play a big part. I will merely tell you what I see with my own eyes and include a lot of photos. That's about it. The absence of analysis and opinion is deliberate.
